Services

In addition to standard home inspections, a selection of additional services are offered. As a scheduling convenience to the client, all services are performed during one appointment in nearly every instance.

Pest Inspection
A specialized inspection for wood-destroying insects, such as carpenter ants, powder-post beetles, or termites.

Radon Screening
Two test vials are placed in the basement or in any other low altitude living area (or potential living area) and retrieved by the buyer or designate. Mailing kit, postage, and lab fees are included.

Water Quality Analysis
From basic tests to large environmental packages.

Water Quantity Analysis
Data is collected on well system; flow and pressure are monitored to verify the ability of the well to meet the needs of the dwelling.

Lead Paint Inspection
Testing is conducted by a licensed lead paint inspector, using x-ray fluorescence technology. Available tests: Lead Determination (about 24 spots), with option to upgrade to a Full Lead Test. Soil and water testing for lead is also available.

When appropriate, the following informal consultations are provided as a part of your standard inspection:

Mold
Observe for and identify suspicious signs of mold and possible causes; provide recommendations for full assessment and abatement.
